Dear The Younger Man Book Which I Wrote and Which is On Sale Today,
Welcome! Welcome a lot!
God, it’s good to have you here at last, and available for squids to read and buy.
And! Such a major coup for you, straight out of the gate! I can’t believe you got the chance to be on Booking Good with Mateus Malgorinsonson. He’s terrifically well-respected, you know… and not too hard on the eyes, either!
From your friend,

My Jewellery Storage
Just before Christmas I bought a jewellery cabinet/stand with a mirror door. To me this was amazing because a) I needed a standing/adjustable mirror and b) I needed more space to put all my jewellery.
I decided not to put it together until we moved and we did so a couple of weekends a go. A few downsides are that a) it doesn’t fit all my jewellery and b) I can’t put any long necklaces in it on the hooks.
So I have a little nook in the bedroom where I have all my jewellery together. My cabinet/stand holds a few earrings, bangles, necklaces and rings. The jewellery holder attached to my tallboy holds my longer necklaces and bracelets. The stands on my tallboy hold earrings and a few more bangles.
Outfit of the Day : Grocery Shopping
Another lazy Sunday here in the ACT. The only errand we had on the cards today was grocery shopping so I just opted for jeans and a tank. It is surprisingly warm but I have no doubt it will bucket down with rain in an hours time as it has been for the last week!

Jeans: Jay Jays
Belt: Just Jeans
Shoes: Target (they are the comfiest pair of shoes I have owned! Just ballet flats with a little bit of a support heel. I also purchased them in a nude colour)

Kim Kardashian Covers Cosmopolitan Australia
While cutting out travel, fashion and career pictures and articles from the huge stack of Cosmopolitan Australia magazines I have been hoarding, I couldn’t help but notice that Kim Kardashian was featured on three 2011 Cosmo covers.
Personally, I have a little thing for the Kardashians - I enjoy watching their television shows and reading articles about them and books written by them etc - but not everyone is as into them as myself and a bajillion other people.
I am a huge fan of women’s interest and fashion magazines and journalism that I believe she must be doing something right to score three covers in one year of one of the biggest selling magazines in the world. Just sayin’.
…
But, of course, the other thought that crossed my mind - magazines are struggling to get celebrities on their covers but Kim is more than happy to make a dollar. I would hate to think that that is what is really happening here.
What are your thoughts?
Inspiration Board : United States of America
Planning a great escape from the ACT at the end of the year to go to the USA.
I have been so excited looking at brochures and catalogues that I decided to cut all travel/USA pictures out of all my magazines to make a USA themed collage.
I hope that by seeing this in my lounge room everyday I will be inspired to save as much money as I can and not be tempted by any other crap I *think* I need.

I love the clipboard wall. How well would this work as an inspiration board?… But without the board and with a better twist.

The Beauty Department: Light Bright (Nail Tutorial)
I do love all things Christmas and I thought there was no better way to get into the spirit than to create Christmas themed nails.
Thanks to Pinterest, I discovered The Beauty Department - an awesome hair and beauty website you must check out. There was a tutorial to create Christmas light nails using three colours, top coat, and sewing thread.
The photos above display my attempt at the Christmas nails but please ignore my terrible cuticles (I am paying much attention to them now). As for the colours, unfortunately the only green I had was a very, very faint green (and to be honest, I probably wouldn’t have purchased it if I knew it took more than two coats to create a nice colour).
The nail polish I used:
White base: Face Of Australia “Cool Cotton”
Red lights: OPI “An Affair In Red Square”
Green lights: OPI “Gargantuan Green Grape”
Kourtney Kardashian
I have become OBSESSED with the Kardashian’s over the past couple of months. I have been watching the first season of Kourtney and Kim Take New York and I absolutely love what Kourtney wears.
I adore her style and it after looking back at pictures, it surprises me how much black she wears but yet how she manages to pull of a gazillion different looks with it.
The pictures above are my favourites out of her ‘Favourite Outfits From 2010’.
